Our Story

Co-Founder, Creative Director

I’m a doctor by profession and a papercut enthusiast for pleasure. Art and craft have always been my passion and source of inspiration, but being a medico I’ve  never really had the time to explore my creative drive fully. My maternity break gave me the time and opportunity to focus on crafting, which in turn gave rise to Paper Picado. I had so many ideas while daydreaming of my baby’s nursery, and I realised these could be produced and shared to be hung on the walls of babies and young children anywhere in the world - creating joy, love and inspiration for the next generation.

I come into this venture with over 19 years of experience in Supply chain consulting and Cloud Delivery– working with some of the top Fortune 500 companies. My background also features extensive experience with Business Management. 

 

At Paper Picado, I oversee the business functions of Demand/Supply, Finance, Marketing, Inventory, Logistics, etc.

Kruthika and I grew up with an artistic father who inspired us with his pen and ink artwork. I enjoyed watching Kruthika create beautiful pieces using only paper, and my skills as a microsurgeon helped refine this process of making intricate papercut art even more!

I work as the Operations Director at Paper Picado to ensure our products are manufactured, quality checked, shipped & enjoyed everywhere.
